Working on my MBA expanded my horizons and challenged me in new ways that accelerated my growth, but I learned a lot from the school of hard knocks as well. One of my most valuable and memorable school experiences was when my classmate and I were paired with another set of MBA students for a class and guest presentation. The other duo took our research data and information and basically stole our presentation of the material. Thinking on our feet, we quickly rewrote our own presentation to make it appear different. The teacher didn’t even notice what had happened until after we’d received the best grade in the class. I learned how to respond in the moment, solve problems, expect the unexpected, and to value treating others well. Let me show you how obstacles become catalysts for growth, refinement, and success.
