As a child selling items door-to-door in the rain, I saw that hard work, determination, and creativity can achieve wonders. The rain also showed me how the power of empathy can achieve wonders to build relationships with customers. My discipline and focus helped me stay on task and achieve my goals. My determination and energy powered me to see things through to the end. For four years running, I was the top salesperson for my high school band trip fundraisers, often contributing my excess earnings to help other students. Now I try to feed these basic lessons to my own children: put a light at the end of the tunnel, take steps to get there, and enjoy the journey as well as the satisfaction of achieving the goal. Let me share these
building blocks of success with you and your team.
